The bus behind me... (L to R Adam, Shuu, Han, then in the front, Fu and Kou)

And the other side. (Tou, Ou Hou waving, Adam, then U Hai and Ou Miyou sharing the PSP)

Stage 5 shops, bus park, etc.

Kou and I and stage 5. I quickly scrapped those shorts in favour of long pants.

Yes, Adam is in every photo, but this one is important. You must note that Shuu and Adam assume the SAME pose that Kou and I did, due to height discrepancies. Shuu was one of the surprising well prepared and timely kids in the group.

Adam hoisting En on his back at 5th stage. Lifting up Chinese kids seems to be a hobby of his. There are countless photos of Ryan doing the same at various rest stops on the way up too. (Even I did, but the girl soon grew heavy.) That's Ou Hou in the background wearing pink.

People walking up along the first leg coming out of stage 5. Note the man on the right - he snapped photos just before the trail started to climb, with is friends, then they turned back.

This fellow was climbing for the second time. He chatted with us.

A view down - see the city?

Resting on the way up. Pardon the quality, it was on landscape instead of auto.. glah. The fella in orange is our guide.

Pretty much the view down after a while.

Aaand dark.

En again, snapping a photo of his own around a 7th stage lodge. You can see many more up the hill, all of the same stage. Actually, it's one of the first lodges we hit.

The last photo I took climbing. I should've set it on automatic, that night setting so did not work. Anyway, L to R is Seiken, Tou, ME, Kou, and... that.. kid from the advanced class. Taiwan.

Sleeping in the lodge. You can see En clearly between Ryan and Ou Miyou. To the left are Spanish kids and their friends. Note the bag hanging - there were hooks just above us.

heh heh. heh. haaa.
