Gion Matsuri

Kan the Korean and I. Very sweet girl. And cute. But kinda ... older sister type. I think she has a little sis back home. Only the highest praise! Kinda chatty. She took lots of photos.

Tou Dai from China. He came to the festival (for me!) despite mixing up his train stations and being tired from work, plus university searching. I'm so glad he came, though. He spent the night searching for beautiful people, so he said.

They apparently carry these things through the street on July 17th, but it was raining and I had class.
